I designed this
exhibit panel for the Jekyll Harbor Resort Marina. It was
used with a SMART Exhibits display at several boat shows in the
southeast. The slogan, "Picture your next visit with us..." tied in
with the images of the marina and other Jekyll Island amenities, which were
laid out to look like someone's vacation photos tossed onto a backdrop
showing the dock at the marina itself. The
display was designed to dovetail with a tri-fold brochure handed out at the
shows. |

This was an exhibit at the Southeastern Flower Show in Atlanta, Georgia. It was designed to show how the company's phone book recycling programs provided raw material for a number of building products, and also to spotlight the company's sponsorship of a Habitat for Humanity house. The back of the little house was open, with a brick pathway encouraging visitors to enter the exhibit. Display panels described the building materials made from old phone books and gave recognition to the companies who purchased those books from our community partners. The exhibit won
special recognition from the show producers for its creative presentation of
recycling. |

Don't have a large budget? This exhibit was designed for the Yellow Pages Publishers' Association during the National Recycling Coalition annual conference and trade show. It touted the tons of directories that had been diverted from landfills nationwide through the member publishers' recycling programs, and provided information on the products made from the recycled phone books. Visitors could lift photos of the products to read about them underneath, providing an interactive factor to the exhibit in the event of its being unstaffed. Photos of the recycling process and of the old phone book drives in local communities helped convey a complete picture of the programs. Due to a limited budget, all panels were printed in-house on tabloid-sized paper (made from old phone books, incidentally) and laminated, then affixed to the display. |
