& Magazines A newsletter should inspire and entertain its readers. It's a great way to energize the membership of a non-profit group, recognize sponsors or sales leaders, inform the public, or improve employee satisfaction. While working in the corporate world, I created, wrote, edited and published the Phone Book Roundup newsletter. It was distributed to over 600 of our company's community recycling partners, waste haulers, recycling companies, paper companies, and national media covering the recycling and paper industries. The newsletter won a Corporate Media award from Keep Florida Beautiful, and regularly had stories picked up from it for the national media. It even led to my being invited to write a chapter for The McGraw-Hill Recycling Handbook, Second Edition. Organizations for which I have written and edited newsletters and magazines include:
